This tutorial was written using PSP9
You will need a skyline graphic of your choice -
try joining Stock.XCHNG
Open up your graphic and promote layer to background (if not
already)
Copy
Add a new raster layer
Then add your text as a vector in white - I used Impact font -
about size 72 but you choose what suits you best!
Click on object, align, centre and place where you are happy.
You may wish to expand your text higher, lower or to the sides, by grabbing the
corners and stretching it! Once you are happy...
Then convert your vector layer to a raster layer
Select all
Float selection
Defloat selection
Paste into selection - to copy your graphic in to your text
Then add a drop shadow 1, 1, 100, 7 - you may wish to vary this
depending on your graphic - you can also repeat the drop shadow with -1, -1, 100, 7. If your
graphic is quite dark, you may wish to add a white drop shadow instead of the usual black.
New layer - add text for your 'from and city' in a
different font and black text. You may wish to move this layer down behind your 'large
text' layer. But if you are happy then so am I!
Then add border 2 white and another border 4 black - or whatever
border you wish. Be creative - add or change whatever you want to make this your own
orginal.... just use the tutorial as a guide.
