This tutorial was written using PSP8

Filters Used: Eye Candy 3.1 - Glass

You will need a picture of your choice

Open your image

Duplicate layer

Copy (Ctl c)

Add Text - I always use enter text as a vector layer first. Use a large font. I used Pussycat in my example. Size can be as large as you like to fit in with your picture.

Objects, Align, Centre in Canvas

Layers, Covert to Raster Layer

Select your magic wand and click in side each of your text letters, holding down the shift key as you go

Then Paste into Selection (Ctl shift, L)

Inner Bevel

Eye Candy 3.1

Repeat Eye Candy 3.1

Drop Shadow

Deselect

Merge Visible
